A spartnabg county man has been sentenced to 40 years in prison after admitting he fatally beat an acquaintance with a brick while robbing him. Prosecutors say Wade Shippy of Pacolet pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter and armed robbery in the November 2012 death of 18-year-old Antwan Bailey.
South Carolina football will host the Georgia Bulldogs on Saturday, September 13 at 3:30 p.m. on CBS, the television network announced. The game will be South Carolina's third contest of the season and the second SEC outing.
