The National Weather Service said 4.5 inches of snow and sleet fell at Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport on Wednesday and Thursday, well below predictions of 8 to 12 inches

 Black  ice is a problem for travelers this morning.. /
it's called black ice because it's the same color as the asphalt.  ..so…drive  slowly ..or …avoid …travel …until 10 a.m. when temperatures start to rise

Airlines are attempting to catch up from the past couple of days …after  thousands of  flights were canceled.
