there is a potential for significant snow, sleet or ice accumulations that may impact travel. ..and may  create numerous power outages,  

snow  will start after midnight tonight  / / more snow on TUESDAY –and Tuesday NIGHT –/  Wednesday – and Wednesday night-   into Thursday  morning -.
  At this time, the forecast calls for about . 4 to 6 inches ….expected along and northwest ….of the I-85 corridor …and 2 to 4 inches ….southeast of I-85
 
officials are recommending that we stock up on food, bottled water, medicine, flashlights and batteries, and to charge cell phones and fill gas tanks.
The expected bad weather tomoro … has led to high school   basketball games ….being moved to tonight/
